Research/Publications:

Dr. Livezey has been the designated principal investigator on more than 70 clinical studies in his role as Research Director of Allergy and Asthma Consultants. His background, including a PhD in Immunology and Microbiology, has fostered a continuing interest in the newest advances in the treatment and understanding of the allergic conditions and asthma. He has published papers/abstracts in prominent Immunology and Clinical Allergy journals. Over the last 20 years, he has been a frequent lecturer to physicians and care providers on a variety of topics related to the subspecialty in metro Atlanta and throughout the Southeast.

Personal:

Dr. Livezey moved to Atlanta in 1988 from Michigan to join Allergy and Asthma Consultants, finding a life-long career. His wife, Rebecca, is a research psychologist at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). They have three sometimes-charming, occasionally-challenging children, who have recently left them empty-nested, but, within months they were blessed with a timely grandson. For Dr. Livezey, music, golf, and travel are frequent diversions—none of them mastered, but very much enjoyed.
