Having been a valued member of the Allergy and Asthma Consultants team since 1988, Mark Livezey, MD, PhD, has come to be loved by his coworkers and patients alike. He serves patients at all the Allergy and Asthma Consultants locations in Atlanta, Cumming, Roswell, and Duluth, Georgia.
Dr. Livezey specializes in a wide range of allergic diseases for pediatric and adult patients, including asthma, sinusitis, food allergies, allergic rhinitis, anaphylaxis, chronic cough, and many more. In addition to the joy that he gets from caring for his patients, Dr. Livezey has been heavily involved in research throughout his career, having been designated as the principal investigator of more than 70 clinical trials.
Dr. Livezey attended the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He then moved on to Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, for medical school. Dr. Livazey also earned his PhD while attending Wayne State University. Dr. Livezey completed his internship as well as a residency in internal medicine at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Park, Michigan, as well as a fellowship in allergy/immunology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
Throughout his career, Dr. Livezey has earned numerous awards and distinctions, including Jezebel Magazine’s Top 5 Allergists, Vitals.com Patients’ Choice Award, the IAHCP’s Leading Physician Award, and Patients’ Choice America’s Most Compassionate Doctors. He has also been listed in America’s Guide to Top Physicians. Dr. Livezey is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and has appeared on numerous TV outlets, including CNN and The Weather Channel.
Dr. Livezey enjoys traveling with his wife, and spending time with his three children and two grandchildren.
